Payroll
Schools require a fast
and efficient payroll service.
Increasingly schools
have found it more cost effective to consider alternative
providers to the traditional arrangements in schools.
EPM provides an integrated
personnel and payroll service. Our payroll service has
both the breadth of experience and the depth of expertise
that are necessary to handle the increasing complexities
of running a school payroll. Our team has people who
possess the specialist knowledge needed to cope with
new legislation, frequent changes in government policy
and constant upgrading of information and this, together
with EPM's expertise in the education sector ensures
the highest quality payroll service for schools.
EPM provides a
payroll service specifically for those schools who already
have or who wish to engage EPM as its personnel management
and administration provider. EPM will run the
school's regular payroll, giving the school comprehensive
reports and enveloped payslips.
We deal with all
aspects of payroll including pension, PAYE, Union payments
and any Attachments of Earnings or Court Orders which
will be automatically calculated deducted and forwarded
to the relevant authority. A pre-payroll run report
is issued which enables the school to make a trial check
before the pay run is finalised. At the end of every
pay period, which for most schools is monthly, a series
of reports summarising all payments and deductions,
SSP and SMP and the Tax and NIC due, will be provided
for the school to enable it to check the payments and
the impact on its budget. A fully detailed payslip will
be produced for each employee.
The EPM payroll
service will arrange payment by the appropriate electronic
bank transfer arrangement from the school's account
set up for that purpose, or from the LEA account.
Charges:
The level of charges are available on request and are
all based on the number of teaching staff (all school
staff are however covered by the service). Charges (+
VAT) are paid monthly in arrears by standing order.
