Pensions are an integral part of public sector pay but with complex rules and ever-changing legislation, it can be hard to keep on top of current requirements.

With our support, pension reporting does not need to be complicated or time-consuming. We work closely with Teachers’ Pensions, over 60 Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) and the Pensions & Software Suppliers Engagement Group (PSSEG). This ensures we are at the forefront of pension reform changes, and that our systems are compliant and up-to-date with the most recent pension requirements.

On your behalf, EPM will undertake:

  • Assessment of contribution bands
  • Assessment at the auto-enrolment staging and re-enrolment dates, along with continual monitoring of non-eligible employees on a monthly basis
  • Payment of monthly contributions via BACS in-line with the fund’s payment deadlines
  • Completion and submission of relevant forms for LGPS – starters, leavers and variations
  • Completion and submission of year-end returns for LGPS
  • Completion and submission of Monthly Data Collection (MDC) for Teachers’ Pensions
  • Completion and submission of monthly reports detailing employees’ contributions broken down by bandings

To support you with your End of Year Certificate (EOYC) and requirements under the Teachers’ Pension Audit, all your reports will be provided via the EPM portal.
