We are looking for a kind, caring and experienced one to one teaching assistant to support in a Key Stage 1 and 2 class, giving specific help children with additional needs. If you have previous experience of ASD, mutism, using visual timetables, and making social stories, you are ideal for us! Knowledge of 'STEPS' training an advantage but not essential. The position is initially for approx 30 hours per week, 0850- 12 & 1230- 1520
The position will include:
• Working with a child/children with additional needs, including running interventions which may be in or out of class
• Occasionally supporting other children within the classroom
• Liaising with staff and parents
• Record keeping as required
