Teaching Assistant – Level 1b – 1:1 with named child in Year 5
25 hours per week / 5 hours per day
Start date: As soon as possible after successful appointment
We wish to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (named child contract), to support a more-able Year 5 child with additional needs. We are looking to appoint an experienced individual, preferably with skills in working with children with a diagnosis of ASD and the upper KS2 curriculum.
At Bassingbourn Primary School we value all of our children equally and wish to appoint staff with an inclusive, positive outlook. The successful candidate must be able to assess, plan and create learning experiences that develop their social, emotional and academic development.
Our recent Ofsted graded us to be Good stating that we had an ‘embedded ethos of being an inclusive and cohesive school community.’
If you think this post could be for you then please contact Mrs Anne Bishop or Ms Tracey Hardingham, our school secretaries, at the above address for further details and an application form.
Closing date for applications: Monday 10th December
Interview date: Friday 14th December
