Teacher of Religious Education (Ethics) and Humanities

Main Scale/UPS

Required from September 2019

Cromwell Community College is a good school which aspires to be an outstanding school. We look to our umanities Faculty to be a driving force towards this aspiration.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational ethics teacher to join our successful team at Cromwell Community College. The ethics team has been especially successful in recent year, at GCSE and A-Level. The successful candidate will be teaching predominantly ethics, but a willingness to teach other humanities subjects at KS3 would be an advantage.

We are a popular, growing and successful school. The Humanities Faculty at Cromwell consists of history, geography, philosophy and ethics, sociology, psychology and government and politics. The faculty is popular with pupils at both GCSE and A-Level and is striving to become outstanding. The successful candidate will be offered plenty of opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range. Pupils enjoy their humanities lessons and staff are hardworking, enthusiastic and committed. This is an excellent time to join the faculty to support the college’s drive to become outstanding.

If you are enthusiastic, ambitious and passionate about ethics, recognise its importance for the development of all pupils and will strive to provide excellent results in our already successful faculty, we would like to hear from you. NQTs are encouraged to apply.

Cromwell Community College offers the chance to join a strong and experienced team and for you to develop your skills and enhance your career development through a wealth of CPD opportunities.

In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, appointment will be subject to DBS check and satisfactory references.

Applicants are thanked for their interest in Cromwell Community College. Please note that only candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted. We are unable to accept CVs.
