St Peter’s School, as part of the CAM Academy Trust is looking to appoint a talented and highly motivated Alternative Provision Instructor who will work with identified young people providing indepth, planned, one to one and group support, to help them address specific issues and barriers to education, training and employment. This role is term time only on a salary of UQT1-6 dependant on qualifications, skills and experience.
Supporting young people of school age requiring impartial advice and guidance to re-engage in education as well as progression into post 16 opportunities into appropriate employment, education, training and vocational opportunities. Identifying activity opportunities, enabling them to fulfil their potential and access universal services. Engaging in mentoring and reintegration work that supports the government’s statutory guidance for pupils of alternative provision for those at a compulsory education age.
Contributing to the development of a high quality targeted service for young people, the role will work with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.
