Hours: 37 hours per week (between the hours of 07:50-18:10 Monday to Friday), term time plus 1 week
Salary: £14,641.84 per annum (FTE £17,173) Scale 2

The Voyager Nursery
The Voyager Nursery is a 53 place Early Years setting offering integrated education and care to children aged from Birth to 5 years. We strive to provide every child within the nursery with an opportunity to grow and develop.

The Voyager Nursery are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Early Years Assistant to support the senior Nursery staff in providing a high standard of educational, physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care to all children within the Nursery/Room. The successful candidate will support with planning the work programme and delivering this to the children of the allocated room whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of each child is monitored. The role will also involve developing strategies for children with additional needs, whilst encouraging and promoting inclusivity for all children.
To be successful in this role there is a requirement to hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and have over 1 years’ experience working with children. There must be an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and of the role of the adult in supporting children’s learning and development. Teamwork and communication are vital skills required day to day, along with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of the Nursery.
