The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) is seeking to appoint an inspirational head teacher to lead St Botolph’s Church of England Primary School in Peterborough, with a starting date of 1st September 2019

This is an exciting opportunity to join the school and be part of DEMAT’s group of inspirational and visionary head teachers who lead our academies.

We are therefore looking to appoint an ambitious leader who will build on the existing strengths of the school and the many improvements already made, and recognised by Ofsted, through monitoring. Working in collaboration with the Trust and a very supportive parental body and community, the head teacher will be key in leading the school’s journey to be a high-quality provider.

We are looking for someone who:
• has an ambition to provide a high all-round standard of education for the children;
• is committed to, and can demonstrate excellence in, working in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community;
• has first class expectations of all staff and is an inspirational leader;
• has a proven track record of raising achievement and implementing whole school initiatives;
• has vision, enthusiasm and determination;
• has the ability to develop colleagues through appraisal and continued professional development opportunities.

We provide strong leadership and support to schools through our core leadership and shared services teams, which includes an experienced and supportive CEO, a School Improvement Team, Finance, HR, Governance, Building and Property services. The successful candidate will benefit from this significant operational and management support; much valued by existing heads and recognised by Ofsted to be of high quality.
