Anglian Gateway Teaching School Alliance (AGTSA) Director of Teaching School – Primary Phase

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead a developing teaching school alliance into its next phase. The position provides a wealth of opportunities for innovation, personal and professional development, creativity and, ultimately, to have an impact on the quality of learning for families and children across our locality. You will be working with a wide network of leaders and professionals and be afforded the freedom and support to work flexibly and creatively to develop the vision and impact of our teaching school alliance.

You will be working alongside the headteacher of Swaffham Bulbeck C of E Primary, the director of the secondary phase of AGTSA, DEMAT and AGTSA’s strategic board to develop the vision, scope and remit of the Teaching School. You will work to develop AGTSA’s effectiveness and impact on the quality of education and learning for pupils and families across our partnership through developing ITT (Initial Teacher Training), CPLD (Continues Professional Learning and Development) and the level and quality of school to school support that we offer. You will work with leaders and teachers to meet the vision and goals of the Teaching School in school improvement across a broad range of partner schools and MATs.

This is a unique post and exciting opportunity that requires a substantial level of self-reliance, creativity, innovation, ambition and determination.
You will be responsible for:
• The day-to-day management of the primary phase of AGTSA
• The business and improvement planning of the primary phase of AGTSA
• Quality assuring all aspects of operation
Ensuring a core offer of CPLD, ITT and School to School Support which support schools locally with school improvement, training and effective teaching and learning.
