We are looking for an enthusiastic play worker that will work alongside an experienced staff member to provide before and after school care for children at our school in 'Forests'.
Forests is an informal, bright and lively club that typically caters for 25 children both before and after school. They are provided with a breakfast and evening meal which is based around a family style table. The school THRIVE values form the basis for the ethos of the club, typically promoted through the play based activities and interactions between staff and pupils
Staff provide a wide range of activities to engage children so they are stimulated and engaged making the club a really enjoyable place to be.
We are looking for someone that can develop creative and engaging activities, taking into account the interests of the children throughout the Primary age range. A positive outlook and bright personality is also essential.
The post is permanent, term time.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, split between morning and after school. 7:30am - 9am then 3:00 till 6:00
Salary: Teaching Assistant Scale Level 2, Scale Point dependant on experience.
