Great Opportunities for Enthusiastic and Committed Class Teachers!
We need an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner, with a passion for learning, to join the teaching team at Townley Primary School. We are a small, friendly primary school in a beautiful rural setting. With mixed age groups our new teacher must be flexible in their approach and confident in teaching all aspects of our broad and engaging curriculum, either in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Our children deserve the best we can offer and so for the right person, there is the possibility of an appointment at UPS for someone who can help develop excellent teaching and outcomes. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have a passion for SEND.
In return we can offer you supportive staff, a commitment to professional development and most importantly, happy, enthusiastic learners.
Do you thrive on challenge? Are you energised by opportunities to develop and share your practice?
If you are passionate about teaching and learning we’d love to meet you! Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by calling the school office.
The successful applicants will have:
• A positive can-do attitude;
• A commitment to driving standards of performance;
• A dedication to continued professional learning;
• Excellent communication and organisational skills;
• Resilience, humour and a sense of moral purpose;
For further details or a conversation about the role, please contact Mrs Maria-Anne Higgins, Headteacher on 01354 638229.
Application forms and further details are available to download on our website or by calling the school. Closing date Friday 3rd May at 9am. Interviews to be held on Friday 10th May 2019. References will be sought prior to interview.
Townley School & Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this.
