Are you creative, reflective, flexible and passionate about children’s learning and achievement? Are you someone who enjoys a challenge and has the determination to strive for the very best for every single child? Are you a great classroom practitioner who can inspire children?
We are looking for a teacher to join our friendly committed and talented team. This is a fantastic opportunity to come and work in our ambitious and forward thinking Academy
About the school:
RA Butler Academy is a fantastic place to work. We are the largest primary school in Saffron Walden, being three form entry and our teachers really benefit from team working. Despite being a large school, we work very hard to maintain a family ethos around the school and really value every single child and the contributions that they make to the school.
Our exciting and engaging curriculum is based on good quality children’s fiction and these books form the basis of our Literacy and thematic teaching. Alongside this we have invested heavily over the past two years in staff training on the Pie Corbett, ‘Talk for Writing’ school’s project.
RA Butler is a core school of the Saffron Academy Trust, working alongside Katherine Semar and Saffron Walden County High School to provide the best educational experiences for our children. Staff CPD is highly valued at the school and our staff are able to take advantage of the many opportunities available to them through collaborative working with local schools. We are part of the Saffron Alliance Teaching School Network.
We welcome visits to the school before short-listing. Please contact Wendy Zych to 01799 523651 if you would like to arrange a visit. Although we are on the edge of Essex, we are not far from Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.
