L3 Teaching Assistant

1 x Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Temporary – until August 2020)

16.25 hours per week (3.25 hours, 5 days per week)
Working hours will be either 8.50am – 12.05pm or 11.55am – 3.10pm, by agreement.

In order to meet the school’s requirements we are looking to appoint an additional Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract, with potential for this to become a permanent role.

This position is to work in a 1:1 supporting role with an EYFS pupil who has an Education Health and Care Plan. You will need to share our commitment to support the school’s most vulnerable pupils, including those with social communication difficulties. Prior experience in this area is desirable.

You will be offered substantial opportunities for shadowing existing staff and developing your own skills in this area. This is an exciting role for someone who relishes the challenge of supporting all children to achieve.

The position is temporary until 31st August 2020, with possible scope to become permanent if the L3 hours continue to be required from September 2020.

The successful candidate will be required to liaise closely with Class Teachers, the SENCo and external support services in order to carry out all support identified for the pupil.
