Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Temporary contract (until 31.08.20)
Salary range £6,222 - £6,603 (fte £21,589 - £22,911)
(Dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience)
11 hours a week over 2 days (Tuesday and Wednesday), term time plus 2 days

In this role you will take responsibility for delivering planned curriculum activities and contribute to planning and preparation of learning activities. Working with the class teacher, you will provide specialist learning support and be able to adapt your approach to the needs of individual pupils.

Some children find engaging in learning a challenge and this role will support the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual children or small groups, ensuring inclusion for all children. You will lead the PPA sessions for Key Stage 2 to ensure they run smoothly.
