Teacher of Geography and Humanities

Springwood High School part of West Norfolk Academies Trust are seeking a Geography and Humanities teacher to join their supportive humanities team. Geography is an increasingly popular subject at Springwood, enjoying significantly increased uptake in the past three years. The department is a successful one - achieving an ALPs score of 4 for student progress. The school is looking for an enthusiastic, effective and pro-active teacher that will enable this success and growth to continue.

The department places great emphasis on geographical learning outside the classroom environment and there is a great variety of national and international trips which the school would want the successful candidate to both participate in and enjoy.

The department has recently had significant investment in resources. It also benefits from the partnership with other schools in West Norfolk Academy Trust, meaning collaboration, support and shared resources are available.

The ideal candidate will also be able to offer Government and Politics at A-Level, another great opportunity for the right person.
