Position: Admissions Officer
Conditions: 32 hours per week, permanent
Salary: Circa £21k to be pro rated(depending on experience and qualifications)
Based in: Milton, Cambridge

Red Balloon of the Air supports young people unable to attend mainstream school because of bullying, anxiety or other trauma to enable them to reconnect with learning and life. We provide our students with a safe environment, clear boundaries for behaviour, and an individual academic, well-being and therapeutic programme, supported by a team of mentors. Once our students have regained their confidence and are able to cope academically and socially, we support them in their return to mainstream school, their entry to further education or to employment. Red Balloon cannot do any of this without our valued staff members.

We are looking for an experienced Admissions Officer, or a person with relevant experience who is willing to learn. As Admissions Officer, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, commissioners, other agencies, and guests of Red Balloon of the Air. You will work with the Admissions and SEND teams to ensure the smooth running of the office day-to-day, and assist staff with administrative duties
