Exciting opportunities at the Queens’ Federation for September 2020
The Governors are seeking to appoint two full-time teachers to the Queens’ Federation from September 2020. Queen Edith and Queen Emma Primary Schools are large, thriving city schools, both in the center of Cambridge. They are run by one Governing Body and a highly experienced leadership team.
We have a reputation for being a warm and welcoming community with strong parent partnership and an inclusive ethos. We aspire to motivating children through a creative curriculum and promote first-hand experience. We are part of the international project the Leader in Me and value and nurture leadership skills in children and staff.
If you are a positive, enthusiastic and reflective teacher who is interested in working in a school with a proven commitment to developing your career and supporting your development, then please contact us. Teachers work collaboratively with their year group partner and share planning and assessment. NQTs are welcome to apply.
Due to being a large organisation we have flexibility around the class you teach next year and wish to appoint teachers who share our ethos and values and who will make a proactive contribution to our committed and collaborative team and to the life of the Federation. We are looking for strong curriculum knowledge with you chosen age group, be it Early Years to the end of KS2, and the skills to be a music leader would be welcome.
The Queens’ Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The offer of employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including the right to work in the UK, ISA registration, Disclosure and Barring Service, medical checks and two satisfactory references.
Visits are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting Zoe Vassiliou on (01223) 714314.
For applicants who are called for interview, there will be an opportunity to have a tour of our schools during the day. Interviews w/c 3rd March 2020
