Site Manager - full time
£26,317 - £29,636
The Ferrers School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a ‘can do’ attitude to fulfil the newly created role of a Site Manager. This important role within the school ensures the security, care and availability of the building, furniture, fittings and equipment to guarantee the staff and students have a satisfactory physical environment.
You will be educated up to GCSE level or equivalent desirably with a site management qualification although this is not essential. You will have knowledge of maintaining a large public building along with knowledge of managing and operating a fire and security system. You will be prepared to work flexibly (occasional weekends and evenings) along with a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Ideally you will possess a plumbing, carpentry or electrical qualification although this is not essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety would also be highly desirable but not essential.
We would welcome applications from any teacher who is keen to immerse themselves in a hardworking, supportive, forward looking department.
