Class Teacher – Primary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Primary trained teacher to work at our SEMH School. The Harbour School is a committed team, striving to provide the very best education for the children in their care, the school is looking to appoint an equally committed teacher to work in the primary area of the school.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed teacher who has a range of skills and experience to call upon. We are looking for:

• A teacher who is able to meet a range of complex needs

• Experience of teaching DT, art or computing - desirable
• A team member who is able to show a flexible approach
• Nurture room experience, desirable.

The successful candidate will be a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with high expectations to teach in our primary setting. The successful candidate will play a significant role in improving the quality of teaching and pupils’ learning, together with promoting the vision, values and aspirations of the school and its wider community.

Our learners have complex needs, and so the successful candidate will be able to ensure that the curriculum fully engages their learning and delivers a high quality curriculum which enables them to facilitate their individual needs and facilitates sustained progress.

The school offers an on-going and inclusive CPD programme, to develop our understanding of the young people we work with.
