Hours: 37 hours per week, full time all year round
Salary: BBU10, Point 28-30, £31,371 - £32, 878 per annum
An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive, organised and experienced ICT Network Manager to lead a team of technical staff to provide high quality ICT infrastructure and support to ensure effective support of the Trust’s teaching, learning and administration.
You will be actively engaged in the strategy, planning and development of future infrastructure and architecture within the Trust environment as well as bespoke projects. Budget and people management are key, and you will be a confident communicator.
The successful candidate must have a further or higher education qualification in Computing Science or equivalent and experience in running an ICT Network department.
The network operates at Trust level currently supporting two sites under a single Windows domain with 2,500+ users and 800+ desktops, tablets and laptops. We have a centralised management system (VMware) that allows us flexibility across sites as well as externally and maintain the network to a high standard. All of our machines run the latest version (as of Jan 2020) of Windows 10 and our servers span from Windows Server 2012 – Windows Server 2019.
You will manage exciting technologies such as our biometric system (Biostore), Office 365 and will drive the network forward in keeping with the Trust’s IT Strategy.
