Head of Food Preparation and Nutrition

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Food Preparation and Nutrition who must be an enthusiastic and inspirational classroom practitioner who would be joining a strong, dynamic and forward thinking team. The successful candidate will be able to teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with a track record of supporting academic success.
The successful candidate will have:
• An excellent record of raising attainment and examination results at Key Stage 4;
• A track record of outstanding teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4;
• Proven ability and enthusiasm to motivate students and staff;
• The ability to raise the expectations and aspirations of students of all abilities;
• A desire to share experiences and good practice with colleagues.
Sir Harry Smith Community College is an 11-18 Academy, proud of its traditional values and innovative approaches to Teaching and Learning and its standards of discipline and respect. The College serves the market town of Whittlesey, seven miles outside of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.
