Senior Catering Assistant
Payscale: Grade 4 (£18065 FTE)
Hours: 25 per week Term time only + 5 days

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our highly committed team.
The successful candidate will assist the Catering Manager to prepare and serve freshly made meals daily. They will assist the Catering Manager in ensuring the service provided is of a high standard and all health and safety and food safety standards are met. They will support the Catering Manager in ensuring any dietary needs are catered for.
You will need to possess excellent hygiene and health & safety practices and have good organisational skills. Holding a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Catering and Hospitality would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience in school catering
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Catering or food production and cooking
• Food hygiene and safety certificate
• Knowledge of food hygiene procedures
• Good communication and team working skills
